With the start of baseball, it's good to remember that what is considered superstar status in the big leagues is actually failing more than succeeding.
A player who bats .300 or higher is considered an all-star. Yep, a batter who gets a hit fewer than once every three times up to the plate is a success. More typical is a player who gets a hit in just one of every four times at bat.

When it comes to ideas, sales calls, presentations and new initiatives, they can't all be hits, let alone home runs. You're going to ground out, pop out or even strike out. Occasionally, you'll even hit into a double-play, meaning you take somebody else with you.
What every batter knows is that the key is to get to the plate. More at-bats will result in more hits and, eventually, more runs.
