The start of a new quarter is often a realization that the grand vision with which we began the year hasn't turned out exactly as planned. You may not have accomplished everything you had hoped up to this point.
That's normal. Yet, there are any number of reasons that might be holding you back, preventing you from moving forward. Tackle them now, and your second quarter can be highly productive. Here are just a few.

Myths
We've accepted, as fact, certain myths about life or our career or about the way the world works. Examine what you believe is true in your life and see if it's really true, or merely a myth.
Lack of ideas
We may need to be a bit more creative. Borrow ideas from others. Ask for help. Don't accept "no" as final, until you've really exhausted every alternative.
Fear of what others think
This keeps us from doing a lot of things in life. At times, the pressure of what others think is a good thing. But, most of the time we care too much about the opinions of others, and that stops us dead in our tracks.
Unbelief
We lack belief in ourselves or our skills. Our inner talk is a train wreck. We've told ourselves so many lies that we lack the confidence we need to move forward.
Money
This is a real factor, to be sure. Money is essential, but we can overstate its importance. There may be ways around the money problem by looking for less expensive approaches or by partnering with someone who has more capital.
Time
This is a case of reprioritizing our schedules so that we make the best use of our time. We cannot do everything, so we must say "no" to some things in order to say "yes" to the ones that will help us reach our goals.
When you take a look at what's holding you back and determine that there may be solutions to each problem, you can start to make real progress. Make the new quarter one where you achieve more of the progress you intended at the start of the year.
