We experience so much in any given week that it's amazing we keep it all straight. If we take time during the day to reflect, we realize we stumble over all kinds of truths, life lessons and insights that can help improve not only our lives but the lives of others.
If you haven't already, it's time to start repurposing your life, so that others can benefit. In time, this will raise your profile as a thought leader and make you more marketable. So, what does that look like?

By repurposing, I mean that you need to take your experience with a customer or that funny moment at the office or that fresh insight about your industry and turn it into an article or blog post. Don't have a blog? You need to start one.
Why not keep a camera, small digital recorder or a small video camera with you to capture some of your more memorable moments? Start a journal or dust off the one you used to use. Don't assume you'll remember. Record it. Write it down.
Then, go back over what you've written or recorded from time to time. Reflect on it. This material becomes the source of new ideas, new insights and new approaches to work and life that will benefit not only you but everyone else with whom you share them.
