I'm struck that even a successful brand like Starbucks doesn't stop thinking of what's next. Take, for instance, its new "Trenta" - sized drinks. And I thought Venti was large.
The new "Trenta" is a 31-ounce cup that Starbucks will use for iced coffee, tea and lemonade. It won't be serving hot coffee or hot specialty drinks or Frappuccinos that large.
Here's what I think is going on.

I'm guessing Starbucks may have lost some ground to McDonald's larger size cold drinks. And, it's a way to tap into people's thirst for something cool and refreshing during the hot summer months.
On a deeper level, it shows Starbucks continues to innovate and look for new ways to serve its customers, and by serving, earn and even bigger profit.
How about you? Are you still looking for ways to innovate?
