Back in my radio news days, I used to host and produce an annual Year in Review program. My fellow journalists would sit around the studio and discuss the major news stories of the year, why they were important and what developments were likely to be major stories in the coming year. - Work - what you did, wrote, produced, sold, arranged. Maybe you switched jobs or lost the one you had. I know all about that. What were the major milestones you can be proud of or were things to build on in the coming year?
- Family - how your family deepened its experiences, communication or traditions. What memories did you help create for your kids? How did you and your spouse handle the many challenges you encountered?
- Personal -new insights you gained, new relationships you developed, goals that were met. Did you start any new routines or break any bad habits?
- Financial - fill out a net worth statement and compare to the previous year. What were the lessons learned? Any new ways of saving a bit more in the coming year, new investment ideas?
